Benjamin McSwain, a beloved son, grandson, Godchild, and cherished member of his community, passed away on March 14, 2026, in Harrison County, Mississippi. Born on September 15, 1993, in Laurel, Mississippi, Benjamin was a warm-hearted individual whose kindness left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Benjamin’s passion for motorcycles and riding was well known among family, friends, and fellow enthusiasts alike. He was an active and valued member of multiple motorcycle clubs, including MPH MC and SC, as well as other motor clubs and social groups. Beyond the roads, Benjamin also found joy in trail back riding and horse-riding activities, sharing these experiences with various riding groups where his camaraderie and spirit were deeply appreciated.
Those who loved Benjamin remember him as a gentle soul with an adventurous spirit, someone who brought joy and warmth to gatherings both large and small. His deep connections with his parents and grandparents were a cornerstone of his life, and his Godparents held a special place in his heart. In addition to his family, Benjamin’s circle embraced a wide array of friends and club members who stood by him through life’s adventures. Benjamin also has a love for children and was a loving godparent to many. Although Benjamin was a part of all these special clubs and groups it did not waiver his love for Christ, he was an active youth minister at his church and was always ready to spread and give the word when the opportunity aroused itself.
The community will gather to honor Benjamin’s life and legacy during two visitations and a funeral service. The first visitation will be held at Legacy Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 135 South 15th Avenue in Laurel, Mississippi, on March 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A second visitation will take place at Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church, situated at 6200 Highway 84 West in Laurel, on March 22, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM and concluding at 2:00 PM. Following this, the funeral service will commence at 2:00 PM at the same church, allowing family, friends, and community members to pay their final respects and celebrate Benjamin’s meaningful life.
Benjamin McSwain’s memory lives on in the hearts of his loving parents and grandparents, his devoted Godparents, and the extended family network that held him dear. His friends and fellow club members will continue to cherish the bonds forged through shared rides and heartfelt moments. The legacy of his kindness and passion for life endures, inspiring all who knew him to embrace each day with the same spirit of warmth and enthusiasm that he embodied.
May Benjamin rest in peace, forever remembered as a loving, kind-hearted individual whose adventurous soul touched many lives.
