Jamari Jaquave Smith, a cherished infant, was born on November 15, 2025, in Laurel, Mississippi, and tragically passed away on January 11, 2026, in the same beloved town. His brief time on earth was filled with joy and laughter, symbolized by his love for the colorful and engaging world of Coco Melon, a testament to his playful spirit.

Despite his short life, Jamari's presence was profoundly felt by his family and those who had the privilege to know him. He is remembered as a loving baby brother and a treasured son, bringing boundless love into the hearts of his family.

Services to honor Jamari's tender memory will be held at Legacy Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Laurel, where a visitation is scheduled for January 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Following this, a graveside service will take place at Oak Hill #2 on January 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM, allowing friends and family to gather in remembrance and celebrate the light he brought into their lives, however fleeting it may have been.

Though his time with us was brief, the impact of his life is lasting, and he will forever be held close in the hearts of his loved ones.
