Jerry E. Bonner

Jerry E. Bonner, affectionately known to many as "Lil Jerry," passed away on May 26, 2026, in Laurel, Mississippi. Born on October 12, 1988, Jerry was a vibrant soul whose presence brought light and laughter to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Jerry was a man of remarkable character and energy, embodying a joyful spirit that was infectious. He carried an innate ability to make people smile, often brightening rooms with his humor and engaging conversation. His gift for connection was evident in the way he met every individual with warmth — truly, he didn't meet a stranger. To know Jerry was to know a friend.

He leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory close to their hearts. Though he was preceded in death by his mother, the legacy of love she imparted to him shines brightly through the lives he touched. Jerry’s loss is deeply felt by all who knew him, a testament to the impact of his lively and generous heart.

Friends, family, and community members are invited to gather in remembrance of Jerry at the L.T. Ellis Center, located at 610 Munson Street, Laurel, MS 39440. Visitation will be held on June 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM. These moments of coming together will honor Jerry’s legacy, celebrating the joy and laughter he so abundantly shared.

Jerry Bonner's memory will endure in the smiles he inspired, the joy he spread, and the warmth he freely gave. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
