With heavy hearts and deep respect, we announce the passing of Jerry King, who departed this life on July 7, 2026, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Born on November 1, 1953, in the great state of Mississippi, Jerry’s life was one marked by kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
Services honoring Jerry’s life will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, 299 Currie Road, Ellisville, MS 39437. Visitation will take place on July 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi.
Jerry King’s legacy is a testament to a life lived with love, laughter, and generosity. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
