Karen McCarty, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on October 23, 2025, in Heidelberg, Mississippi. Born on June 12, 1972, in Mississippi, Karen's vibrant spirit and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Karen was a devoted wife and a proud mother of four children, who cherished her boundless love and support throughout their lives. She was also a doting grandmother, delighting in the joy that her grandchildren brought to her life. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she loved every moment spent creating lasting memories with them.

With an infectious enthusiasm for life, Karen enjoyed the simpler pleasures, whether it be spending time with her family or indulging in her fondness for the casino. She had a passion for dancing and was known for her ability to light up a room with her lively spirit. For Karen, life was all about having fun and making the most of each moment.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, her four children, and her cherished grandchildren, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will remember her warmth, laughter, and love.

Visitation services will be held at Legacy Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Laurel, Mississippi, on October 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A second visitation will take place at New Beaver Meadow M.B. Church in Heidelberg, Mississippi, on November 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
