Kenneth Dean, affectionately known as "Kent Kent," passed away on June 15, 2025, in his hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. Born on October 11, 1989, he was a beloved figure in the community, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.
Kent was not just a person; he was a protector and a source of love for everyone around him. His vibrant personality and unwavering kindness made him a treasured presence in the lives of many. Those who had the privilege of knowing him were often touched by his warmth and generosity.
He spent his life in Laurel, where he was cherished by family and friends alike. Kent's legacy will continue to inspire all who had the joy of crossing paths with him. His dedication to protecting and loving those around him was evident in all facets of his life.
In honor of Kent's memory, on June 28, 2025, a visitation will start at 9:00am to 11:00am at Calvary Baptist Church. Following the visitation will be his Celebration of Life Service starting at 11:00am at the same location. Concluding these services will be a repast that will take place at the L.T. Ellis Center.
As we remember Kenneth Dean, let us hold dear the values he embodied—love, protection, and kindness. He will be profoundly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
