Pearl McClellan

Pearl McClellan, affectionately known as Mrs. Pearl, departed this life on November 10, 2025, in her hometown of Laurel, Mississippi, where she was born on March 24, 1957. Her life was a vibrant tapestry woven with love for her family, her passion for music, and a spirited enjoyment of life.

Pearl held a special place in the hearts of many, especially her surviving child, who carries forward her legacy of love and kindness. She was also a doting grandmother, with whom she shared countless joyful moments. Pearl had a zest for life that extended beyond her family; she loved to celebrate, often bringing together friends and family for lively gatherings where music filled the air. Her great enthusiasm for parties made her the heart of many joyous occasions.

Pearl’s love didn't end with celebrations; she also had an endearing fondness for scary movies, which provided her with both excitement and joy. A devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints, she embraced her team's triumphs and tribulations, sharing this passion with friends and family alike.

Pearl is predeceased by her parents, two children, and loving husband, leaving a profound absence in the lives of those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished forever, resonating in the hearts of her loved ones as they remember her laughter, spirit, and unwavering support.

A visitation for Pearl McClellan will be held at Sunlight Baptist Church, located at 196 Friendship Rd, Laurel, MS 39443, on November 22, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 11:00 AM, honoring her vibrant life and the cherished memories she created with those she loved.
