Robin Gould, born on May 15, 1958 in Chattanooga, TN, departed from this life on June 24, 2026, in Stringer, Mississippi. Robin passed from her earthly home surrounded by her beloved family and loved ones, bringing to a close a life filled with compassion, adventure, and devotion.
From her earliest days, Robin possessed a caring spirit and a zest for living that touched everyone around her. She dedicated her professional life to nursing, a calling that allowed her to serve and bring comfort to countless individuals over the years. Her colleagues and patients alike knew her not only for her skill and knowledge but for her empathy and warm heart. Robin’s work was more than just a career—it was an extension of her deep love for humanity.
Robin found immense joy in traveling, exploring new places, and creating memories with those she cherished. Her adventurous spirit led her to seek out both the beauty and the stories woven into every journey she undertook. Yet, even amid her explorations, she treasured her home life most. Spending time with her family was her greatest pleasure. Whether it was gathering around the table to enjoy her husband Jesse’s famous barbecue or quiet evenings spent in laughter and conversation, these moments gave Robin her deepest joy.
A true animal lover, Robin’s fur babies held a special place in her heart. They were her companions and brought her daily comfort and happiness.
Robin’s memory lives on through the family she loved so dearly. She is survived by her devoted husband Jesse Gould; her son Donald Loper and his wife Jennifer; her daughter Melanie Raby and her husband Chris; her son Robert Loper and his wife Melissa; her stepson Scooter Carney and his wife Danielle; and her stepdaughter Amanda Gould. Robin was a proud grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, each of whom brought her endless pride and happiness.
She joins in eternal rest her father, Robert Randolph Waters, and her mother, Jacquelyne Waters, who preceded her in death.
Robin’s selfless nature, her unwavering love for her family, and her lasting kindness will forever be held in the hearts of all who knew her. Her spirit remains a guiding light and a treasured memory to those who were blessed to share in her remarkable journey.
