Remembered foremost as a loving son, Shawn was known by all for his generous spirit and ability to bring a smile to those around him. He had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel seen and appreciated, earning affection from friends, family, and the wider community alike.

Shawn's genuine nature was evident in every interaction. Described simply and profoundly as "everyone loved him," his presence was a comfort and a source of joy for so many. Friends and community members are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Christ's Church of Laurel, located at 1301 N 2nd Ave, Laurel, MS 39440. A funeral service celebrating Shawn's life will follow at 11:00 a.m., also at Christ's Church of Laurel. Interment will take place at Blackledge Cemetery Road, Laurel, MS 39443.
